Kolega Timor Peaberry Coffee

This delicious Timor Single Origin is a Peaberry coffee that has flavours of black tea, cocoa and walnut. The sweet, lingering finish is complemented by aromatics of cedar, cocoa and vanilla with a medium body and sweet citrus acidity.

This bean has been roasted in partnership with St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace and $10 from the sale of every 1kg bag will be donated back to the college and their Terrace Timor Network (TTN). This network directly funds programs that empower women and support the economic development of communities in the Emera region of Timor Leste.

The cooperative that farmed the beans (Cooperativa Café Timor) was founded in the wake of the destruction that was left behind in East Timor after it gained independence from Indonesia in 1999. Today, the organisation has over 19,600 members and has implemented healthcare, business management programs, language lessons and computer lessons for its members.
