We are excited to announce the addition of two new Account Managers to Merlo's Sales team.
Frank will be looking after Merlo customers west of Brisbane, while Kate will be covering a large region from Central Gold Coast to South Brisbane.
Both Frank and Kate have comprehensive knowledge of Merlo Coffee from previous roles within the organisation.

How long have you been working at Merlo for?
Frank: I started at Merlo in August 2019 in the warehouse. After packing orders four days a week I transitioned into doing the bar run delivering orders to all the Bar Merlos as well as the Espresso Engines in the Brisbane CBD.
Kate: I have been working for Merlo Coffee for 11 years next month! I started my career with Merlo at 15 at the Springfield Torrefazione.
After I graduated school, I started full time at the store and became Manager where I spent the next few years. I was studying Events Management at the time and was volunteering for all events Merlo was involved in and expressed interest in a role around events. I was lucky enough to be welcomed into the Marketing team as Event Manager which included running the Jan Power Markets and planning events at Merlo.
After a while this role then became part time so I slipped into a full time Coffee Training & Manager role at Long Pocket at St Lucia. I then made a sea change and moved to the Gold Coast and started at Torre 3 Southport as 2IC which was my most recent position at Merlo before starting this new sales role.
What do you think you can bring to the role of Account Manager?
Frank: A passion for our product and plenty of life experience which I hope will add value to our customers and the team.
Kate: With my long-term experience and knowledge over the years at Merlo, I will endeavor to bring exceptional customer service and understanding of the Merlo product, Merlo values and of course support.
What part of the role are you most excited about?
Frank: Spending time with our wholesale customers and watching people enjoying their Merlo coffee first hand.
Kate: I am most excited to be out on the road meeting new customers and sharing my knowledge to enable them to succeed further.
Favourite Merlo coffee and beans?
Frank: Double Shot Latte and Forza Blend.
Kate: My favourite blend is Organico and my favourite single origin is Brazilian. I love an Oat Latte or Piccolo!
